After the recent changes of the last incarnation, the cinema part of the room was already complete, but the back wall behind the Genelecs was still a work in progress. Recently, I added the final touches in the form of four ArtNovion Douro W diffusers. Before installing them, I removed the two square white panels, which are pieces of Akotherm. While these panels were helpful in the beginning to combat flutter echo, their function was diminished after installing the T Akustik diffusers. Nevertheless, as I found when removing them before installing the 4 Douro panels, a strong flutter echo returned, confirming their usefulness up until this point.
