A new audio player, real-time lyrics, expanded credits, and contextual recommendations are part of a major update to the mobile and tablet app on iOS and Android<\/h3>\n

This redesign aims to make the listening experience more intuitive, immersive, and informative. While modernizing its mobile experience, Qobuz retains what sets it apart from other platforms: a spotlight on artists, their works, and the context surrounding them, all driven by a unique blend of high-resolution audio and exclusive editorial content.<\/p>\n

A completely redesigned player<\/h3>\n

The player features a new, more dynamic interface inspired by the colors and visual aesthetics of album artwork. A miniplayer remains visible at all times during navigation, allowing for seamless playback control without interrupting musical exploration. On tablets, a split-screen mode allows users to open a tab for quicker access to lyrics, credits, the play queue, or editorial recommendations, all while keeping the main player in view.<\/p>\n

Real-time synchronized lyrics<\/h3>\n

The highly anticipated synchronized lyrics feature has finally arrived on the app. They scroll line by line in real-time, alongside their translations. It\u2019s a new way to follow a track, to better grasp the lyrics and the intention behind them, or simply to rediscover a favorite song.<\/p>\n

A new \u201cExplore\u201d section<\/h3>\n

With this update, the player also becomes a hub for discovery. The new \u201cExplore\u201d section offers similar albums and artists, radio stations, and playlists, alongside content linked to the label or musical genre. Qobuz’s editorial content, including reviews, artist interviews and long-form features, is now accessible directly from the player, allowing the user to extend their listening experience without ever leaving the universe of the current track.<\/p>\n

More comprehensive credits<\/h3>\n

The credits layout has also been redesigned, with more accessible information about the works and artists. It\u2019s also possible to follow an artist or label directly from the player.<\/p>\n

A smoother play queue<\/h3>\n

Queue management and autoplay have been redesigned for a smoother, more intuitive mobile experience. Upcoming tracks are now displayed more clearly, and a simple swipe allows you to reorder or remove a track.<\/p>\n

A customizable miniplayer<\/h3>\n

You can now customize your miniplayer with three different shortcut buttons: add to favorites, add to a playlist, or select an audio output. Head directly to your settings, select Playback, and choose one of the three available options.<\/p>\n

Building on the CarPlay redesign<\/h3>\n

Since February 2026, Qobuz has also overhauled its Apple CarPlay experience, offering smoother navigation and a suite of new features: shuffle playback, direct access to albums and artists while listening, editorial recommendations, DailyQ and WeeklyQ playlists, genre filtering, quick-add to favorites, and alphabetical sorting for your library.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Siri integration enables voice-controlled playback, whether you\u2019re using CarPlay or the mobile app.<\/p>\n
