The new phono stage is the same size as the Model 535 amp and is highly configurable.<\/p>\n

The Conductor can be ordered with only one input if desired and be upgraded at any time, with one to three additional inputs, allowing the user to run up to 4 different cartridges by simply changing the input button. The fully-equipped Conductor Phono Stage will have Four independent inputs, three MC or low output MC inputs and one MM\/high output MC input. Also available is an option to use Amorphous transformers instead of the normal ones on the inputs. If upgrading after purchase then this will need to be done at the factory. This is because the boards are soldered internally. Connectors would have been more upgrade-friendly but Jeff has chosen to solder the connections because that leads to better results.<\/p>\n

The Conductor can be powered by the PSU<\/a>, or even an Aeris<\/a> power supply with reduced performance. However, a full width, companion power supply is being designed to power the Conductor which will be less tall than the PSU. The performance of this power supply, while not 100% the level of the PSU, will be better than the stock Aeris supply.<\/p>\n
