It was a bit of a shame that I have reviewed various Driade cables but never any of their speakers. The recent Premium 2S provided the perfect occasion to rectify this!

This cable truly is something else. It has a smooth, free-flowing, organic and highly involving delivery that, quite unusually, does not come along with a lack of focus or a reduction in dynamic slam.

The Flow Link Reference 808 provides a wholly unforced, pure, and natural rendition of anything that you play. The cables have the fluidity, smoothness, and organic presentation that I have come to know from the Flow 405 speaker cables but with a new level of articulation, precision, and transparency, that fully justifies their "Reference" moniker.

The Premium Model 9 is an advanced yet natural-sounding monitor speaker with a linear reproduction for the entire frequency range. While the famous Rogers LS3/5A has inspired some of its qualities, it also has a lot in common with the larger Driade Model 2S floorstander, topped off with a remarkable twist all of its own.

Regular readers will know of my unwavering enthusiasm for Driade Flow Link Reference 808 interlinks ever since reviewing them in the summer of 2021. As time went by, I found myself using them more and more, and they are now my favorite cables!

The Flow Reference 808 is Driade's new reference-level speaker cable, intended to inhabit the spot above the Flow 405 in the brand's topmost tier and meant for those who seek the maximum in performance.

This update showcases the Driade Premium Model 9 a special custom finish, that will be the HFA monitor speaker reference in its price class, and quite a bit beyond.

These Signal Projects cables provide a superbly liquid, lush, deeply saturated, highly refined, and smooth sound but, especially in the case of the Apollon, with great transparency and resolution. This is seduction at its best.

When you frequently review products, and especially when the target is usually the high-end segment, true surprises are few and far between. So, it's a treat when a product comes along that truly brings something new to the table.

Along with the Marten Parker Trio loudspeakers that I recently reviewed, I was also handed a trio of Jorma cables. As I found, these cables turned out not only to work superbly synergistically with the Parker Trios, but they also proved a smashing success overall. As such, I felt they deserved their own review.

Established in 1999 in Australia by Mr Allen Wang and known primarily in Australia and Asia, Melody is now being distributed in the EU. As it turns out, these amplifiers are something special. The corporate headquarters, which comprises, among others, the R&D center (product design), is based in Australia. Later, in order to meet the growing market demands, the company decided to invest by building a factory in Shenzhen, which is located near the city of Hong Kong.

With the Evolution STA, NuPrime has delivered an amplifier that manages to strike a beautiful balance between the strong qualities of the ST-10 and the AMG-STA, while raising the overall performance even further. 

As the name implies, the LAiV Harmony GaNM amplifiers have GaN (Gallium Nitride) Technology at their core, which, combined with a proprietary ultra-low-noise switched power supply, provide 200 Watts of pure, clean, and highly transparent power into 8 Ohms per mono block.

Between the Xfi show in Veldhoven and the High End show in Munich, the Audio Show Alkmaar is the always pleasant and relaxed variant where you go to meet people, listen to precisely enough systems so as not to get an overdoses, shake some more hands, eat a nice croquette and perhaps enjoy a few Westmalle beers.

The Monrio mp11's have a luscious sound that is gently sweet and easy-going, airy, highly refined and beguilingly fluid. It's also nothing like what I have become accustomed to hearing from typical Class-D designs, or from Class A/B amplifiers, for that matter.
