Hoi Christiaan,

Je hebt niets te veel gezegd, die EVO is een topper.

Vooral het midden, stemmen ed. is superieur maar ook het laag is veel strakker. Beeld is ook meer 3d en breder.

Heb hem nu ruim een week in gebruik en had nooit verwacht dat het verschil zo enorm groot zou zijn.

Nogmaals bedankt, jou review was de aanzet tot aanschaf!

I am still evaluating the platter but certainly note some of the more positive points noted so far, that said, I did use a Rega 250, then the Michell Tecnoarm but switched to the SME M2-9 - a far better match - more musical in every way - I think cast arms can work on some decks but not all ?

I love the fact you review things like the Harmonix discs - fabulous, I will keep reading, and enjoying.

by chance I found your excellent website while looking for information regarding the Ayre QB 9 DAC and I am glad that I found your website. It is an excellent source full of information and what I do like the most is that you actually compare components side by side.

Your review of the Ayre QB 9 is very helpful since you really "played around" with it trying different USB-cables, different power cords and last but not least different computers with different operating systems and different software players. This way you got probably 100% of what the DAC can do.

Hallo, Mede op basis van de nuchtere info op je website heb ik een paar weken geleden een concerto pre gekocht. Eigenlijk heb ik dat een beetje 'blind' gedaan. Op dit ogenblik kan ik je redeneringen helemaal onderschrijven als het gaat om rust, ruimtelijkheid en detail. Werkelijk mooi materiaal. Ik heb verder gecombineerd met ML 335 en B&W802d en kan daardoor weer voor een paar jaar verder. In alle geval gefeliciteerd met je website!
