The owner of this setup has sold all his cd's and wants to go strictly server-based. After not being satisfied with the Logitech Sqeezebox, the next step was the Macbook Pro pictured here. It is feeding a HiFace USB interface with SPDIF output via a Wireworld Gold Starlight 5 into the Wadia 27ix DAC. The software to play the music in is still under evaluation. So is the placement of the Macbook.
The entire setup. There is of course the beautiful Jeff Rowland Coherence II preamp with its battery power supply and a Jeff Rowland Cadence phono stage for a turntable that will be bought in the future.
But the setup is missing one item. Can you guess?
