History of this site and my setup

I started this site under the Dutch name www.audioadvies.nl, with the intention to inform other audiophiles, based on all the experience that I gathered from my beloved hobby. The audio world can be a confusing place because of all the different philosophies and opinions. It can be difficult to obtain truly objective reviews and info. That's why I decided to try and offer all the relevant information in one place. In order to be truly independent, I do all the testing myself, not relying on manufacturers, distributors or advertising.

It is my continuing aim to offer more and more easily readable reviews and interesting information. Not all info is in English yet but I'm working hard to get it all done. The sitename has now changed into www.hifi-advise.com and is continuously updated so please check back regularly!
